The recent meta has been shaken to its core after the October update. Balancing changes have pretty much eliminated Miners from the game at TH10 and 11, and as we often see for attacks at TH9, the impact trickles down and TH9s stops using the in order to prepare for attacks at higher Town Hall levels; because who wants to spend all that time practicing an attack they won't be able to keep using. So anyway, the future is bleak for Miners unless something changes. Bowlers have lost a lot of luster at TH10, however, they are crushin it at TH11 mostly due to how well they combo with the Warden's Eternal Tome ability. In other news, air attacks are attempting to crawl out of the grave in the form of Shattered Queen Walk GoLaLoon attacks, but the jury is still out on how well that branch of attacks will progress. Finally, Queen Walks are still super favorable even after the nerf to Healers. Basically the original take-out-half-the-base Queen Walks are gone for good, but the strategy is evolving into a shorter form that focuses primarily on taking on how priority defenses like Wizard Towers, giant bomb spots, Air Defenses, and possibly even the Eagle Artillery. Here's a good recap video by OneHive of how things are going for serious war attacks. I think its coverage of TH9 attacks is pretty shallow, so if you want more information on attacking at TH9 please check out the GoHo, GoVaHo, or GoWiVa guides.
